“and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14
Over the next 40 days, pray that we as Hope church recognize our need to pray.
To pray, you must humble yourself. If there is no humility, you will not pray. Prayer demonstrates dependence on God. Clyde Cranford said that not praying is the most arrogant thing we can do. God wants to bless us, but first He wants a relationship with us; in fact, He wants a growing relationship with us. No prayer=no growing relationship.
Pray that we both as individuals and a church would see the need for prayer as we journey together the next 40 days.
Write down any thoughts or ideas that apply to your growth as a follower of Jesus.
