Introduction

Imagine the Influence

We are blessed family of faith here at Hope. For the last ten years, we have seen hundreds of lives changed here in Las Vegas for the glory of God, but God has also allowed us to be involved in what He is doing worldwide. We have engaged church planting nationally in being a part in starting ten churches and internationally through leadership development and pouring into the lives of hundreds of pastors from multiple countries. God is moving among us and we look forward to what He will accomplish through the people called Hope in the future.

In February, we will move in to our new facility on Cactus Road and we are blessed by God to have this opportunity. In light of what God has done through us and looking forward to what God will do through us, lets begin to Imagine how God will use this “Launching Pad”

Imagine how much glory God will get from our lives of obedience! Imagine the hundreds of people who will come to know Jesus through the faithful witness of His people here at Hope! Imagine how many hurting, lonely, and needy will be served through this body! Just Imagine the possibilities! God has already thought of everything. He is waiting for us to obey and follow His leadings, promptings and heart.

We are asking everyone who is a part of Hope to join us in this 40 day prayer journey as we prepare to “move-in” to our new campus. We have given you within this material a guide to pray specifically for our journey. These next 40 days will go by quickly, but we believe these days will be a crucial point in the life of Hope.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” – Ephesians 3:20-21 Let’s Imagine together how God is going to use this new Hope “Launching Pad” to serve people locally, nationally and globally.
As we finish up our series on Faith: Not By Sight, our prayer over the next 40 days as we pray together is that every person at Hope would a trust in God like they have never experienced before.

We offer this 40 day prayer guide simply as a helpful resource. The purpose of this prayer guide is to get us all spiritually ready to move in as we accept the responsibility God is giving us in this new era at Hope. Each daily devotion is divided into three parts: Read and Meditate, Reflect and Pray, and Apply.

“Whenever God desires to do a great
work, He first sets His people to pray.

C.H. Spurgeon

Read and Meditate

Read the entire selected Bible passage(s) and meditate on the key verse(s).

Reflect and Pray

Read the reflective thought that explains each days chosen Bible passage and daily theme. Ask yourself how the Bible passage applies to your life. Ask God to reveal Himself to you more and more each day.

Apply

As you work through each day’s devotion, write down any thoughts or ideas that apply to your growth as a follower of Jesus.

If you choose not to speak today, that is ok with me. You are God and I am not. I will wait on You!” Make Him the focus of this time.
  8. saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple.” – Isaiah 6:1

  10. Listen, O my people, to my instruction ; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.” – Psalm 78:1

  11. Posture and Position: Use any worship posture you want and feel comfortable with: kneel, lift your hands, or even fall on your face before Him.
  12. I stretch out my hands to You; My soul longs for You, as a parched land.” – Psalm 143:6

  13. United in Prayer: Join together with others to pray: Your small group, your family or other friends.

Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” – Matthew 18:19-20
